For your safety and ours, we do have policies. The Bed and Breakfast is our home as well. We try to make policies clear so please make sure you read and understand our them as you decide to stay with us so neither of us is surprised.
Making a reservation
Booking a reservation requires a credit card for a deposit, to hold the room and keep on record in the unlikely event of major damages.
Weekends require a 2 night minimum stay.
A 50% deposit is required. For a one night stay, as available, the total amount of the stay is required.
Tulip Time and Holiday weekends require full payment at time of booking and are NON refundable.
Whole house bookings require a 50% non-refundable deposit. Cancelling a whole house booking inside 30 days will result in your being responsible for the entire cost, minus any rooms that are rebooked for the same time.
Everyone’s favorite. What if I have to cancel? Please remember we are a small business so cancellations affect us greatly. When you book a room we hold it for you. That means we turn away other requests for that room. We know unplanned circumstances occur but if you cancel, we may not have the opportunity to rebook the room.
So, if you must cancel, here’s what will happen.
1. If you cancel outside of 14 days there will be a $25.00 cancellation fee.
2. If you cancel inside of 14 days there will be a $50.00 per day cancellation fee.
If you plan to rebook the entire stay for another date, we will collect the entire amount due and issue you a cancellation “gift “card to be used within six months toward another stay.
5. No shows and early departures are charged the full amount of the stay.

Check in is from 4 to 6 p.m. Please let us know your approximate time of arrival. You must arrange in advance later check in times to ensure we are here to check you in. Just give us a call 616-994-0922.
Check out time is 11 a.m.
We are totally smoke free. A $250 cleaning charge will be assessed if smoking is discovered.
2 persons limit per room. No exceptions, please.
We love children, however, we are a quiet, adult oriented, get away destination and are not set up to accommodate small children. We cater to romantic and special occasions. We can consider well behaved, supervised children IF you book all bedrooms for 2 or more nights. But remember, you are renting the bedrooms, we serve breakfast, and no cooking by guests is permitted.
Pets are not allowed.
Ordinances do not allow for guest cooking.
Responsible alcohol consumption is allowed.
We supply towels, robes, soaps, shampoo, hairdryers and in room refrigerators.
We have battery-operated candles. No other candles are allowed.
